"When in Rome: Local Inspiration for Global Innovation"

We are excited to announce the upcoming KIE Conference, “When in Rome: Local Inspiration for Global Innovation,” where we aim to explore the fusion of local wisdom and global innovation on 23-25 July 2024, Rome,Italy. As part of this event, we invite researchers, scholars, practitioners, and enthusiasts to submit their papers, abstracts, proposals, and contribute to the dynamic discussions that will shape the future of innovation.
This conference provides a platform for participants to explore how local insights can drive global innovation, and we believe your expertise and research in this area would be a valuable addition to our discussions. So, whether you specialise in technological advancements, cultural studies, business strategies, social sciences, or any related field, we welcome your insights and research contributions. Submission topics may include, but are not limited to:
- Cultural diversity as a catalyst for innovative thinking
- Case studies highlighting successful integration of local practices into global innovations (or Case studies of global innovations inspired by local practices)
- Socio-economic impacts of localized innovations on global markets
- Ethical considerations in adapting local knowledge for global solutions
- Technological advancements inspired by indigenous practices
- Strategies for fostering cross-cultural collaboration in innovation or for harnessing local knowledge for global impact
Submission Guidelines:
- Abstract submissions should be 250 words maximum.
- Papers should be submitted via this email by 30 April 2024.
Authors of accepted proposals, abstracts or papers will have the opportunity to present during the conference sessions, engage in discussions, and potentially contribute to a publication compiling conference proceedings.
